Anna Mbise, one of 3 teachers from Woodland Hill Montessori School's sister school in Babati, Tanzania, watches a video welcoming the 3 to WHMS on Monday. Miss Mbise is wearing traditional Maasai dress.  The video featured photos from the various trips made by WHMS students, parents and teachers to the Sinai School over the last several years with the Water Power Peace Project organized by Karen and John Mason, parents at WHMS.  The teachers are spending 2 weeks here providing educational and cultural exchanges with students and teachers.

Jason Kahembe and Anna Mbise, teachers from Woodland Hill Montessori School's sister school in Babati,Tanzania, watch a video welcoming them and fellow teacher Leah Lazier to WHMS on Monday.  All 3 teachers wore traditional Maasai dress to the school that day.  They are visiting for 2 weeks and providing a remarkable educational and cultural exchange with students and teachers.  Over the last few years there have been several trips to their school by WHMS students, parents and teachers organized by Water Power Peace Project founders and WHMS parents Karen and John Mason.

Heidi Nathanielsz, the Middle School English teacher at Woodland Hill Montessori School in North Greenbush, watches the video welcoming 3 teachers from WHMS's sister school in Babati, Tanzania on Monday.  The Tanzanian teachers are visiting for two weeks and providing educational and cultural exchange with students and teachers here.  Nathanielsz, wearing traditional Tanzanian dress, was part of the group including WHMS students, parents and other teachers who went to Babati last August to work with students and teachers at the Sinai School.  That was the most recent trip organized by Water Power Peace Project founders and WHMS parents Karen and John Mason.

This beautiful, majestic bald eagle was spotted by our dog this morning perching on a high tree on our back yard in East Greenbush.  After taking a few shots I was absolutely thrilled to see its mate appear! We are so glad to see they are around!  I’ll send you a few of the shots I took.  Enjoy!
