The Marine Corps Toys for Tots- 2014 hosted an appreciation event at the Hilton Garden Inn In Troy.  Over 110,000 toys and coats were distributed this year. Two Eastern Blue Jays enjoying some fresh water on a bitter cold day.  Providing water for the birds is just as important as providing seed and suet.  Plastic take out containers work great.  If frozen, the ice pops out easily, wash and refill.  The birds will be grateful.  :o)

We adopted Sally 15 years ago from the animal shelter in Menands. After struggling with arthritis and a leg injury, we made the difficult decision to have her euthanized. She was such a good dog. Our hearts are broken.
