This is one of two young hawks that fledged this spring at the Albany Country Club in Voorheesville. They were known for their non-stop screeching, as we believe, the parents left them on their own to learn how to hunt on their own (they obviously were not happy about that)! This shot was taken along the 12th hole. He was about 100 yards away so I had to zoom pretty far. I did not use a tripod, so I was pretty amazed that it came out so clear!

This bumble bee was so laden with pollen from a flower on my Rose of Sharon, it had a hard time flying!

I took this photo from Albany Country Club. I like the way it looks in black and white. The clouds and the golf balls look neat!

I took this photo back in July in the town of New Scotland/Voorheesville area. They were playing in the grass. I was thankful for having my camera with me. Zoom lens definitely used!

I took this photo at Five Rivers in Delmar. There were about 50 of them catching bugs by the big pond. I didn't see the spider web in the upper right hand corner until I downloaded the photos on my computer. Extra bonus!
