Gardner Dickinson Undefeated

The girls modified softball team of Gardner Dickinson School in Wynantskill was undefeated this year with a record of 13-0. Strong performances were put in by the entire team consisting of four 7th grade girls and eleven 8th graders. Team members include back row-Hannah Hoffman, Mackenzie Haynes, Jordan Miner, Angela Halse, Ciarra Hogan, Micaela Moak. Center- Morgan Murphy, Brayleigh Hanlon, Meghan Driscoll, Maria Piscitella, Megan Driscoll, Tessa Hickey. Front- Alana VanDenburg, Shannon Johnson, Michele Radliff. The team was coached by Kate Cronin and Paul VanLeuven. Congratulations Girls!

On 6/13/09 at Westland Hills Cal Ripken Little League, Team Fiorello's Deli became Grasshopper Division Park Champions after an undefeated season; 16-0! 2009 Eastern New York Travel Baseball -10U Division Champions The Upstate Gamers just completed their dream season by going 12-0. Colonie Little League Legend?

Nick Donato made one of his biggest achievments on Saturday June 7 as Nick tossed a no hitter in only 82 pitches! Nick's fastest pitch Saturday came in at 78 mph! Nick also is the league leader in home runs and batting average with 16 home runs! Nick needs 2 more to tie the Colonie record and 3 to be the new leader. With only one game left Nick will need to hit 3 to make history.
