Local choral students from Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake, Schoharie and Queensbury got a once in a lifetime chance to sing with the world renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir during their sound check rehearsal June 29 at SPAC. Eight canoes and passengers paddled up and down Schodack Creek on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Adults and children enjoyed the easy paddle and the opportunity to learn about tidal marsh ecology. The event was sponsored by the Rensselaer Land Trust and The NY Department of Environment Conservation.
