I am Mentoring Chair of the Schenectady photo Society. Shot during the Troy Victorian Stroll Sunday, December 2. Used a Fuji X10 and noted the impact of the reflections at 45 degrees from the window with the human models. it made it very urban to me.

This image was taken in Boyton Beach, Florida and is of a dear friends birthday flowers that were way past their prime. It was taken in the lanai on a rippled glass patio table. Shot with a Canon 10D and manipulated in Topaz. This image won Projected Image of the Year at our club in 2012.

This image was taken in Venice, Italy and was shot with a Canon 10D and a 28-105 lens. Tweaked in Topaz, one of my favorite from our Italy trip!

This image was taken using a scanner. The pear and leaf were laid onto the scanner, the top of the scanner was removed and a black velvet cloth was held over the scanner to keep the background black. Final adjustments were made in photoshop to assure a completely black background. The scanner gives an unusual sharpness and depth to the objects that are scanned in.
